Sampling

Sampling is the process of selecting participants to take part in the research. Random sampling is drawing a sample simply by chance. Purposive sampling is the selection of participants who have knowledge or experience of the area being investigated. Theoretical sampling is a sampling strategy in which the selection of participants is guided by the ideas that are emerging from the data analysis.
