To highlight the key quality markers in the critical appraisal of SRs with meta-analysis of observational studies
To cover some of the important statistical analyses presented in SRs with meta-analysis of observational studies and what they mean
To review the main sources of bias and confounding in SRs of observational studies, and the impact they might have on the results
To critically appraise an SR with meta-analysis of observational studies using the CASP SR checklist
To consider whether and how the results of an SR with meta-analysis of observational studies can be used in practice
Participant places are limited in each virtual workshop to ensure optimal interaction between participants and lead trainer. CPD certification (equivalent to 3.5 hours) is available if required. This workshop will take place online, and joining instructions will be sent to you after completion of booking. Participants will be sent pre-reading to complete before the start of the session. This course will be taught in English and will take place in GMT.
